ADEL, GA (WTXL) - A City Councilman in South Georgia was released from jail after being arrested last week for child molestation and statutory rape.
Dextinn Chandler Hill bonded out of the Cook County Jail Sunday morning.
He was taken into custody on Friday after the GBI was called in to investigate claims that he had "inappropriate contact" with a student at Cook County High School.
Hill is a teacher at the Cook County Primary School; officials say he has been placed on administrative leave.
