ATLANTA, Ga. (WTXL)--The Georgia Child Fatality Review Panel releases it's annual report which includes an analysis of child deaths in 2013.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says a child's death is eligible for review if the death is sudden, unexpected, or unexplained.
Every Georgia county has a child fatality review committee.
In 2013, 540 child deaths were reviewed. Among unintended deaths, 102 died in traffic accidents. Twenty-six deaths were a result of drowning.
