TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - As thousands of visitors flood into Tallahassee to witness the FSU national champions take to the field, local businesses are banking on the dollars they will bring in.
According to Tallahassee Mayor John Marks first impressions are key, "This is a huge boost to the economics of this community to have these game days and have people come to our community from outside. Economically it's very very important because we want to make sure our local businesses thrive and this helps them do that, but more important these two football teams are huge to the community year round."
Game days have become major money makers not only for the city but is also serves a chance to show case all that the city has to offer.
