GADSDEN COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Gadsden County Board of Commissioners is going digital with how they sell excess assets like materials, tools and specialty equipment.
Residents will now have an opportunity to participate in the auctions from home after registering online.
Joseph Kikta, one of the auctioneers, said that many local citizens had scheduling conflicts with the physical auction.
"Conducting the sales online allows for more participation by the local citizens of Gadsden County, while expanding the county's reach to bidders across the country, and around the world," said Kikta.
The current auction features different types of items from vehicles and equipment to supplies and tools. These online auctions will be an ongoing process with new items being added.
