GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Gadsden has announced the holiday closures and service changes in observance of Christmas.
Closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, November 25

- Gadsden County Libraries (all branches)
- Gadsden County Public Works
- Gadsden County Mosquito Control
- Gadsden County Animal Control
Remain Open for the Holidays
- Gadsden County parks and recreation facilities (parks and boat landings)
Additional Service Information
The William A. McGill Library in Quincy and the Havana and Chattahoochee Public Library branches will open Saturday, December 22 at 10 a.m. and close at 3 a.m. and resume normal business hours on Wednesday, December 26.
In the event of an animal-related emergency, service is available by calling the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 875-8811. Gadsden County Animal Control encourages residents to only use this service in cases of dangerous or aggressive dogs, sick or injured domestic animals, animal cruelty or animal bites. Injured wildlife calls will be forwarded to the St. Francis Wildlife Association at (850) 627-4151.
