GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two new principals are expected to be approved at Tuesday's Gadsden County School Board meeting.

Maurice Stokes is slated to be principal of James A. Shanks Middle School.

Stokes was principal of St. John Elementary, which was closed this year and, most recently, a vice principal at Gadsden County High School.

Pamela Jones is slated to be principal of Gadsden County High School.

This comes after Juliette Fisher-Jackson went into retirement, serving as the combined school's first principal.
