GADSDEN COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says a correctional officer has been fired and arrested for bringing contraband into a detention facility.
The sheriff's office is currently investigating the complaint.
According to deputies, Nitika Fryson was arrested, transported and booked into the Jefferson County Detention facility by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
