GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Gadsden County had a successful National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
Participating in the day on Saturday, the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office received from citizens 578 pounds of expired or unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs for proper disposal.
Evidence specialist Janice Tyus described the day as a good one and says it helped to get the drugs in their proper place, disposed of.
