GADSDEN CO., Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners has proposed their fiscal year 2015 budget.
The budget intends to keep operational spending low by running programs more efficiently, and maintaining service levels across the board.
Commissioners don't expect taxes to increase, saying they plan on keeping the millage rate the same.
According to the Board, the county currently has the highest fund balance in its history, and about $600,000 is expected to be returned into cash reserves.
Gadsden County Commissioners will hold their final budget hearing next Monday, September 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., in the County Commission meeting room.
