The Gadsden County Humane Society (GCHS) invites the public to attend their Battle of the Bands fundraiser on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Downtown Havana, Florida at the intersection of 7th and Main Streets.
Admission is free.
The goal is to raise awareness of and funds for GCHS through a fun-filled concert featuring 5 bands competing. The band that raises the most donations for GCHS wins the "battle".
The event will include a dog/cat supply drive that will start at 2 p.m., 50/50 raffle, guitar raffle, a bake sale and information booths. All proceeds directly benefit the homeless animals in Gadsden County.
