Havana, Fla. (WTXL)---A Gadsden County Sheriff's Deputy was treated for injuries overnight after he crashed his patrol car.
According to the Sheriff's Office it happened around 2:40 a.m. Friday morning on Havana Highway, just east of Shady Rest Road.
Officials say the deputy hit something in the roadway, crashed his car and was trapped inside.
Another deputy was able to make it out to the scene to help him out of the squad car.
EMS and the Fire Department responded just minutes later.
So far, the extent of the deputy's injuries are still unknown.
