Gadsden Co. deputy seriously injured in motorcycle crash

LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The future is uncertain for a Gadsden County Deputy who was seriously injured in a crash in Leon County Friday night.

According to a Facebook post from the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Maximilian Sander was riding his motorcycle on North Meridian Road near County Road 155 when his right-of-way was violated.

We are told he sustained serious injuries. WTXL has reached out to the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office and Florida Highway Patrol to find out more. We will keep you updated as we get more info on what happened and Sander's current condition.

Sander's brothers and sisters in blue are asking the community for prayers for his speedy recovery.
