Gadsden Co. Deputy Loses Home in Fire

GADSDEN CO., Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) has set up a 'Go Fund Me' website for one of their deputies who lost his home in a weekend house fire. He is married with 4 kids.

GCSO says on Saturday, December 13, 2014, Deputy Regan "Derrick" Edwards bedroom was destroyed in the fire. They add, he lost his clothing, and all of the children's Christmas presents and clothing were lost in the fire.

GSCO is asking for clothing and monetary donations to help the family.

Clothing sizes for the family are as follows:

Derrick Edwards: XL shirts, 34 x 34 pants

His Wife: size 11

10 year old girl - size 10 to 12 (she needs a jacket)

Boy: size 7 to 8

Girl and Boy: size 5T
