GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Gadsden County commissioners are set to discuss additional funding to help attract businesses to the area.
If approved, the county will commit to pay $160,000, made in two installments of $80,000, to the Gadsden County Development Council. The council will then work on creating a plan to find economic development opportunities and challenges they are facing today.
Officials say this will be a great way to keep the county moving forward and bring jobs and money to the area.
The next board of county commissioners meeting is Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the Edward J. Butler Governmental Complex.
