VERO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A Georgia woman who was recently featured on `America's Most Wanted' was arrested at her boyfriend's condominium in a beachside Florida community.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office says 52-year-old Karen Lynn King is charged with kidnapping and assault with the intent to kill. She was arrested Saturday near Vero Beach.
Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers report a caller tipped the sheriff's office to King's whereabouts. Detectives did surveillance on her boyfriend's home. They approached him when he left to walk a dog and he confirmed she was inside the condo. She was arrested without incident and is awaiting extradition to Georgia.
She's wanted in Cherokee County, Ga., where she's accused of enlisting men to beat her ex-boyfriend, put him in a trunk and drive him to Alabama in 2012.
