ALBANY, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in south Georgia say a woman has been arrested for repeatedly calling paramedics when she needed a ride.

Police say 27-year-old Ashley Nicole Jones was arrested for calling an ambulance for a ride Monday and has done so at least 15 times since January. WALB-TV (http://bit.ly/172X6zV ) reports the woman is charged with requesting EMS services when not needed.

Authorities say the woman has made 10 calls for an ambulance in May and has a history of being taken to an emergency room only to walk away without actually seeing a doctor.

It's unclear if Jones has an attorney.
