ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia state revenues were up just over 1 percent in March compared with the same month a year ago. That makes for a 5.2 percent increase for fiscal 2013 over the first three quarters of the previous fiscal year.

Gov. Nathan Deal said Wednesday net revenue collections have so far totaled $12.3 billion for the fiscal year that will end June 30.

Sales and use tax revenues for March dipped slightly to $427.4 million, while corporate income tax collections increased nearly $7.5 million compared to last year.

Meanwhile, individual income tax collections posted a gain of less than one percent. The governor's office noted that individual income tax refunds and individual withholding payments showed increases.

Corporate income tax refunds were down $13.5 million, or a decrease of 53 percent.
