(WTXL) - Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal announced Tuesday he has formed a panel to review the case against Worth County Sheriff Jeff Hobby.

The state attorney general, as well as the sheriffs from Gordon and Peach counties, will make up the panel.

They will review and investigate the charges against Hobby, following a controversial drug search at a Worth County high school.

Deal has given the panel 14 days to issue a report to him deciding the fate and future of Hobby's time in office.
