MACON, Ga. (AP) — The family of central Georgia firefighter killed when he fell through the floor of a burning home plans to say goodbye.
Funeral services for Macon-Bibb County Lt. Randy Parker are scheduled for Monday morning. Parker was 46.
Authorities have said Parker and other firefighters arrived at the home in southern Bibb County last week to find it engulfed in flames. Five other firefighters were injured.
WMAZ-TV reports that Parker will be buried in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens following a processional from downtown Macon (http://on.wmaz.com/1DxRNHq).
