TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A benefit concert was held Sunday night for a local woman who’s in recovery after having a brain tumor suddenly removed.
Vittoria hit her head and got a concussion while she was working at Izzy Pub and Sushi. That led doctors to discover a brain tumor that had been growing for 5 to 10 years and would've started causing seizures.
It’s a long road to recovery for Vittoria. That’s why her coworkers and the community wanted to help in any way they could.
On top of 3 local bands hitting the stage, more than 100 items were donated. If you couldn’t make it tonight and want to help, Vittoria has a go fund me page called sunflowers for V - because friends say those are her favorite flowers.
