MADISON CO., Fla. (WTXL) - Madison County deputies make an arrest over the weekend after tracking down a fugitive.

Deputies say they received information that Troy Mendheim was at a home on South CR 53.

He was wanted for domestic violence charges and violating his probation.

They say they were already familiar with the location as a place Mendheim might be.

According to deputies, they set up surveillance at the home and identified Mendheim. They later secured the perimeter of the home.

When they began their attempt to arrest him, they say December Webb came out of the house and denied Mendheim was inside.

Deputies then searched the home and found Mendheim hiding in a small cabinet.

They say he resisted arrest, even causing minor damage in the patrol car by kicking at the window.

December Webb was also arrested for lying to authorities about the whereabouts of Mendheim.
