TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- A fuel tanker overturned at the intersection of Geddie Rd. and Highway 20 at 6:13 p.m.
The tanker was carrying diesel and gasoline. The driver was on Highway 20 and overturned the truck while making a turn at Geddie Road.
The driver is being treated at a local hospital. He is expected to recover.
The TFD Hazardous Materials Team is on the scene containing the spill. Also at the scene are the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Florida Highway Patrol, Department of Transportation and Department of Environmental Protection.
Traffic in that area of Highway 20 is being diverted away. Geddie Rd. is shut down from Highway 90 to Highway 20.
