MANATEE COUNTY, FL (WWSB) - A series of photos and video of a giant dead burmese python, found near Port Manatee, has some local wildlife experts wondering if this is the elusive snake seen in the Ancient Oaks community.
The snake was found by Brooke and Chris Dawson. They snapped some photos and video of the massive snake, and quickly received calls and messages from local media outlets wanting the scoop.
Justin Matthews of Matthew's Wildlife Rescue, shared Dawson's post and openly speculated that this could be the snake he's been looking for.
