#FSUnited: Students Hold Prayer Vigil In Aftermath of Shooting

Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- Florida State students gathered on campus to pray for the victims and their families after the shooting in Strozier library.

At 10 a.m. students began to gather in Landis Green just outside the library where the incident happened.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. at Strozier Library. Three victims were injured before police killed the shooter.

Students are now coming together to take a moment for those victims.

President John Thrasher said, "The Florida State University community is extremely saddened by the shootings that took place early this morning at Strozier Library, in the very heart of campus, and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of all those who have been affected".

Classes and exams have been canceled for the day.

The school is offering counseling for anyone affected by the event through Employee Assistance and the Counseling Center.
