TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The FSU women's basketball team is ready to hit the hardwood in front of a home crowd!
The Seminoles' home opener is Thursday, and the team is ready for another strong run.
Florida State is coming off an NCAA Elite Eight run, and two All-Americans are back, with senior center Adut Bulgak and junior guard Leticia Romero.
Head Coach Sue Semrau is also returning for her 19th season. Coach Sue joined us on WTXL Midday to talk more about her high hopes for this year's team.
She says the community support over the past few seasons has made a huge impact in making FSU a perennial Top 10 school when it comes to women's basketball. That goal is well on it way, with a record number of season tickets for already sold.
The women's basketball team is taking on Tulane for the home opener on Thursday, November 19 at 7 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
It's also State Employee Night, so tickets at the box office on game day are just $2 with a state employee ID.
