TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Four Florida State University students are screening a documentary Thursday night about a decades old cold case murder.
641 Muriel Court will air at the Moon Thursday evening.
It's will focus on the Sims family murder from 1966 in Tallahassee.
The students spent the last 10 months working on the film and they hope what they've uncovered could help make a difference in the case.
"Just try things. I think there's a lot of value in figuring out what you don't like, but I also think there's alot of value in working really hard on a project even if it's not your cup of tea, even if its not exactly what you want to be doing." said Kyle Jones, the director of the film.
He continued, "You learn so much when you work on something like this, when you work so long on something there's so many little tips and tricks and this has been easily the most valuable thing I've ever worked on and it might even have a little impact on the community which is awesome."
An arrest has still not been made in connection to the case. The screening of 641 Muriel Court will begin at 7 p.m.
