TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Less than 48 hours after the FSU softball team's big win, some stores in town have brand-new merchandise to recognize the national champs.
The Florida State University Campus Bookstore just received officially-licensed apparel and gear Thursday.
It includes merchandise celebrating both the ACC Championship and the National Championship.
T-shirts, hats and bats will be sold at the campus bookstore, the Seminole Sport Shop at Doak Campbell Stadium, and the Civic Center store.
A manager at the Campus Bookstore said fans couldn't wait to get their hands on the new gear.
"We actually were selling it as we were unpacking it from the box. We had people waiting as early as yesterday," said Sam McDowell, Apple Manager at the FSU Bookstore. "As soon as everybody knew that the women had won, we had people waiting out here, and then, they found out it was coming in today, so we had people as I was undoing the boxes behind the counter here, I'm just handing stuff to people."
In case you don't get a chance to grab the merchandise before the big celebration Friday, the merchandise will be sold at Langford Green during the event.
