TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - FSU quarterback Bailey Hockman has decided to transfer to another university.
The redshirt freshman was not at Florida State University's practice Friday.
Deondre Francois won the starting quarterback job after a three-way position battle with Hockman and sophomore James Blackman.
Hockman, a PowderSprings, Ga, native, led McEachern to the GHSA 7A state semi finals as a senior.
He committed to the Seminoles in April 2016 and chose Florida State over offers from North Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia, among others.
