TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State University football player Gregory Dent is facing a sexual assault charge, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

According to an arrest report, a high school friend says Dent repeatedly tried to have sex with her around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 9. The woman says that she and Dent are close friends, so much so that her parents know him.

She told police she declined and fought her way out of the apartment by biting him, grabbing his hair, and punching him. She says the incident ended with her running out of the apartment screaming.
