TALLAHASSEE, FL -- Florida State University says they are contacting students in study abroad programs the in wake of the Paris attacks.
According to an alert sent to FSU students, students participating in the FSU International Programs or Global Pathways are being contacted by their programs.
The alert goes on to say, "Any other FSU interests (students, faculty, staff) currently overseas, especially in France, are asked to report to family, their immediate supervisor or primary university point of contact (advisor, dean, international programs office) as soon as possible to verify your safety and welfare. If unable to reach any university official in a timely manner, you may call the FSU Police Department at 850-644-1234."
French officials are saying multiple attacks including shootings and bombings took place Friday evening in Paris.
