TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - To make sure the students feel at home, Florida State university has a host of activities scheduled leading up to the first day of classes. It's a part of the year's Seminole Sensation Week.
On Thursday, they're teaching Noles how to cook healthy meals while away at school, and they're are hoping to start new friendships through a "Speed Friending" event.
This is all ahead of Sunday's New Student Convocation at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, kicking off at 1:30 p.m.
