TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida State University students enjoyed a private screening of Marshall.

The 2017 biographical movie is about Thurgood Marshall, who worked as a lawyer for the NAACP and was the first African American Supreme Court justice.

After the movie Thursday, a panel discussion was hosted to continue the conversation of challenges Marshall faced.

During the panel discussion, students spoke about the messages and lessons they learned from Marshall and how they can use his methods to tackle social issues America faces today.
