TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida State University community discusses the future of some landmarks on campus with controversial names.

FSU President John Thrasher created the Panel on University Namings and Recognitions after the racially charged incidents in Charlottesville, Va, last August.

He listed three landmarks as priorities: Francis Eppes Hall, the Eppes Statue, and B.K. Roberts Hall, which is the main academic building of the FSU Law School.

They decided to hold a town hall so that everyone who wanted to speak had an opportunity to do so.

The next president's advisory panel meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, at Roberts Hall from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. nd a later one that afternoon at the Black Student Union house from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
