TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The FSU College of Criminology and Criminal Justice dedicated a fallen officer memorial Friday.

The memorial titled, "At Half Mast," was designed by Katharine Galvin, a Florida native and Florida State University alum.

It's located outside of Eppes Hall, the home of the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Friday, the memorial was dedicated to eight FSU Alumni who died in the line of duty.

"While so many have made wonderful contributions a number of our graduates have paid the ultimate sacrifice losing their lives and we wanted to honor those with the fallen officer memorial," said Tom Blomberg, FSU College of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

The fallen honored at the event include: Livio "Al" Becakeccio, Corey Dahlem, Daniel "Dale" Green, Rogerio "Roger" Morales, Ernest "Ernie" Ponce de Leon, Scott "Scotty" Roberson, Dana Seetahal, and Robert "Rob" Williams.
