TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida State's College of Communication and Information held a career fair to connect students with internships in the area.

It was catered to students within the college and employers in communication information and IT fields.

Career fair organizers said it's a good partnership between local employers and students.

"I'm happy that our local employers, participate, and it's a good way to get the kids started, usually in their second or third year, letting them at least explore their careers a little, but also building their confidence, building their skills," said Ebe Randeree, Associate Dean of FSU College of Communications. "And that role helps getting our students geared to take on different challenges."

FSU Senior Addalynn Teague said it's important to have the career fair to help students get internships, which can help them get jobs in their field.
