TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida State University community held a vigil Monday night for the victim of last weekend's hit and run accident, who remains in critical condition at the hospital.

These are pictures from Monday night's vigil for Jackie Faircloth, held at Westcott fountain on FSU's campus. Her family was in attendance, including her parents and her brother, who attends Florida State.

Students lit candles and stood around a group of candles that spelled out Jackie's name.

A representative from City Church spoke and prayed, and then friends read personalized prayers.

Students were then welcome to write notes to Jackie and the family after the prayers.
