TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A well known face to many students who have passed through the halls of Florida State received an award for her dedication to the students she sees on a daily basis.
Eva Killings has worked at the Suwannee Room, a dining hall at FSU, for the last 10 years but has been a mainstay at the university since 1975.
Killings is well known for not only greeting students with a smile but a message a love that has stuck with many of the students she has come into contact with.
That message of love is one of the reasons Killings received the Ring of Starts award from Aramark.
One benefit of the award is Killings and her daughter are being taken on an all-expense paid trip to Phoenix to celebrate.
