TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The FSU Alumni Association hosted their annual kickoff luncheon on Friday.
Fans got to hear from FSU President John Thrasher and Head Football Coach Willie Taggart.
The 2018 Seminole football players and coaches all came out to celebrate.
There were also performances by the Marching Chiefs, the FSU cheerleaders, and the Garnet and Gold Guys.
Fans say they're ready for football season to start.
"Yeah, I'm really excited. After last year, I think from what I've seen of the recruiting process, I think we have a really good chance to have a decent record this year, maybe even land a good bowl game," said fan Khalil Young.
Football season officially kicks off on Sept. 3 when the Seminoles take on the Virginia Tech Hokies at home.
