Frozen vegetables recalled nationwide

If you've purchased frozen vegetables within the last 7 months, check your freezer as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a nationwide recall.

CRF Frozen Foods is the company that distributed the food items. Listeria was discovered during a routine testing by state health officials in Ohio. 

15 different frozen food items are being recalled including peas, corn and mixed vegetables. The items were sold under various brands including True Goodness, Wellsley Farms, Organic by Nature and Schwan's.

The items were distributed between September 13, 2015 and March 2016.

States impacted include AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan of Canada. The FDA says other states may also be impacted.
