(WTXL) - The cold weather has frozen iguanas falling from the trees.
When temperatures dipped overnight, the iguanas in south Florida couldn't hang - literally.
The animals may look dead, but reptile experts say they're just stunned by the cold weather. The invasive species freezes when it gets below 45 degrees.
If you see a frozen iguana and want to help, reptile keepers say it's safe to move them into the sun. They may just thaw out.
