WAYNESBORO, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in Pennsylvania have identified the five people killed when an SUV collided with two motorcycles near the Maryland state line.
The Franklin County coroner said Sunday that all the victims are from Pennsylvania.
The four motorcyclists who died are 67-year-old David Russell and 53-year-old Michelle Russell of Mount Joy; 32-year-old Douglas Hoffer Jr. of Quarryville; and 27-year-old Colleen Nesbitt of Gap.
Also killed was 68-year-old Marjorie Smith of Johnstown, who was a passenger in the SUV.
Coroner Jeffrey Conner says the crash happened Saturday when the SUV crossed the center line and hit the motorcycle driven by Hoffer.
The SUV then spun around and was broadsided by the Russells' bike.
