TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - Florida's Agricultural Commissioner says the "Fresh From Florida Retail Program" has reached a new record.
The program markets florida's agricultural products. According to the commissioner, 12,357 retail stores in 26 countries are now carrying "Fresh from Florida" products.
More than 4,000 of the participating retailers are outside of the united States. In 2014, Florida agricultural exports totaled 4.2 billion dollars.
The top international partners include Canada with more than 1800 stores carrying the products, and scandinavia with 724 stores.
The locations carry more than 40 different types of fresh fruits, vegetables, citrus and other products.
