WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Wakulla County is inviting residents to bring car and pickup truck tires to the landfill for free disposal.
The Tire Amnesty Day began this week and will run until grants are exhausted, a news release said.
Driver's licenses will be checked for verification of Wakulla County residency, and each vehicle can bring only 10 tires.
The landfill will be open Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
