TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Do you know what to do if an armed suspect came into your workplace?
Leon County and the City of Tallahassee have partnered up to host a free free, internet-based workshop on July 16 to help you make those decisions.
Operation Population Protection is a unique exercise that provides an opportunity for management and staff from your workplace to become better prepared for an active shooter incident while simultaneously assessing current workplace plans for such an event. During the exercise, your team will work through various activities associated with responding to a workplace active shooter incident.
This program follows the Department of Homeland Security’s exercise design and facilitation guidelines, said the city.
