TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Going through a divorce and need legal advice? Thursday night, you can get advice for free.
On Thursday, Legal Services of North Florida (LSNF) and the Leon County Clerk of Courts will host the first of four free family law information clinics offered throughout 2017.
Organizers said that the series of free clinics will provide legal information to help families understand the intricacies of divorce proceedings, legal matters related to children, and the division of property.
The clinics will take place at the Leon County Courthouse Annex in courtroom 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The clinic is open to the public, free and does not require registration. Organizers say attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives of LSNF and the Leon County Clerk of Courts Office.
Additional clinics in this series will be hosted on May 25, September 14, and November 9 at the Leon County Courthouse Annex from 6-8 p.m.
