MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL)--You can make your own kit to help someone in need of help during an emergency with items from your home.
You can learn how to build the kit and also learn the skills needed in a real-life emergency by attending workshop offered by the Florida Medical Reserve Corps.
The workshop is called Active Bystander Training, and it's being held at the TCC Gadsden Center on Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. It's free.
