FRANKLIN CO., Fla. (WTXL) - A woman in Franklin County is arrested for allegedly stealing cash from families signing up for the county's youth football league.
Catherine Nicole Millender, the Director of the Franklin County Parks and Recreation Department, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Franklin County Sheriff's Office detectives say money deposited by Millender did not equal the amount of children that registered to participate in the league.
When questioned, detectives say Millender confessed that she did steal the cash registration fees for the 2013 and 2014 youth football seasons.
She is now charged with two counts of third degree grand theft.
