Franklin County Drug Investigators arrest a wanted man

FRANKLIN COUNTY PRESS RELEASE

The Franklin County Drug Investigators received an anonymous tip that Anerence Terrill Sweet was located in a residence at 238 8th street in Apalachicola. Anerence was wanted out of FranklinCounty on several felony warrants including Felony Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, Driving While License Suspended or Revoked, and leaving the scene of a Traffic Crash with Property Damage. He was also wanted out of Bay County Florida for several other warrants.

The Drug Investigators along with several Road Patrol Deputy's went to the residence to attempt to locate Anerence Sweet. Sgt. Ronnie Jones was located on the south side of the residence and saw Anerence jumped up from a bed and run toward the bathroom.

Lt. Allen Ham along with Sgt. Timmy Register and Deputy Casey Harrell was able to take Anerence into custody. In the residence Deputy's saw a large amount of suspected Cannabis lying on the floor by the bed where Anerence was lying. The house was then secured and a search warrant obtained. Inside was 53 grams of cannibas and currency along with scales and baggies.

Anerence was taken to the Franklin County Jail where he was booked on the outstanding warrants, and facing new charges for Possession of Cannabis with intent to sell or deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
