FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Franklin County deputy bitten twice by a rattlesnake has fully recovered, the sheriff said.
Deputy Travis Osburn was bitten Monday night while investigating a suspicious vehicle near the Apalachicola airport, according to the sheriff's Facebook post.
The sheriff's office took the occasion to remind everyone about the dangers of snakes in their environment.
