FRANKLIN COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Franklin County residents are being asked to prepare for the worst from Tropical Storm Colin.
The emergency management center has announced a voluntary evacuation notice for several areas starting Monday morning at 8 a.m.
According to emergency officials, the areas of Alligator Point and Bald Point could face storm surge up to eight feet. All low-lying areas are subject to flooding. Additionally, residents in R.V. parks are encouraged to take shelter due to strong tropical storm force winds.
The Franklin County Emergency Management is at a level three of monitoring at this time.
